Toby Gray is a 22 year old photographer from Birmingham, who specialises in music photography. Most of his work is with lead singers on bands and not live action performances. He also does a lot of work working creatively with what the musician does, i.e different angles of guitars, microphones, etc.
I like his work because of the different take he has on photography, he doesn't just suit pictures of people singing, or standing still, we works with their personality along side their talent.
This image is from a series of images of an artist, and I like this one in particular because it's a little bit more creative. I like the depth of field and the festival bands so the audience a little bit of the artists personality.
I like the image above because it gives the audience an impression of the artist and how he acts. From this image I see that the artist is a guitarist but a little cheeky. Another reason i like this is because its not just an image of a man standing there with a guitar but is still a good repretentation of what he does.
